Hearing of the name herds men in our dear country Nigeria is so frightening and worrisome. Why is this so?. It is no longer news of the deadly and cold blooded humans they are. Firstly, who do we regards to as herds men? Herdsmen are people who rears livestock, especially cows and sheep. Through this definition, the rearing of livestock such as cows are not suppose to cause any harm than good in our society today. However, it is the other way round whereby innocent citizens are been killed by this people either through physical misunderstanding or mistakes. In today's thinking, people classify the rearer as the owner, this is not true. Why do I say so? You see an herdsman with over 50-100 cows and still move under the sun directing them. A person who should have that amount of cows is one who is said to be financially stable due to the cost of those cows, therefore hiring herdsmen to work for them, giving them strict and mean instructions on those who tries to manipulate them or...
